Peepee in the Potty

Theo went peepee in his potty today! Hooray! I still say we are a long way from being potty trained, but it's still a marvelous accomplishment. I think we have two books to thank: "On Your Potty" and "Once Upon a Potty." Sometimes when I read those books to Theo, I look at him, and he looks the way that I look when I'm studying for the USMLE (which, by the way, I just took Step 2 CK today!)

So what happened was, Theo woke up this morning and I asked if he wanted to sit on the potty and he said yes. He sat on it for about 2 to 3 minutes and finally he looked at me and he said, "Nothing happened," which is a line from "On Your Potty." But when he got up there was peepee, so of course I had to holler for Dad to get up and take a look at it so we could both fuss about it. And fuss we did.
